Delteq owner come inside(opti question)

Well since i ve found that i dont have any negative injector pulse: http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=518252 i tought about all my motor install...

The only thing that i ve modified is the opti itself.

When i install my DELTEQ it was suggested to take off the rotor of the opti for a safety issue.I did it and bought a DLT 4001 wich is a billet opti cover.

Here is the tricky part. When i put back the 2 bolts that hold the opti disc and was also holding the rotor before i took it off,i realize that the screw are to small in diameter to hold the disc...

So i just put a washer under each bolt.Tighten everything but the opti would not turn since the 2 small bolts are too long and touch the opti housing.

I ended up putting 2 washer under each bolt.Everything now clears perfectly.

For the DELTEQ owner:Have you done what i ve done or came up with a different idea?

I just installed delteq and threw away the plug wires from the opti. Everything inside the OPTI is still spinning around. Why open a can-o-worms?

I heard about the rotor exploding/etc. at high rpm, but I didn't take it out when I put the Delteq. I figure, I'm not spinning to 7k+, so I could care less...I also didn't change the Opti cover, b/c you can't see the damn thing anyway...works perfect (new ac delco opti w/ delteq)
