If I get a delteq does it still work with an ignition box and if it does what would be a good box to get.

 

I installed the MSD DIS-4 along with 4 of the GM coilpack adaptors with my Delteq. Ordinary ignition boxes will not work, but the DIS-4 does. The DIS-4 has rev limit, 2-step, and step retard all built in. Mine runs well and I have used the 2-step many times.
