Delteq Guys with Headers

I have the Delteq kit and Mac Headers are coming. I don't want to run the Plug wires under the motor but over the top. what wires did you uses and did you use 90 degree boots on both ends.

Thanks

I have Delteq with MACs. I routed the plug wires with the radiator shroud mounted system. I went under the car. They werent too bad to route. The front 4 are cake to route obviously. The 3rd plug on the drivers side i used a zip tie to keep it away from the headers (pulled it taught; down and towards the back of the engine). The back one i looped around something, i dont remember what its called (ill take pics if you really want). The back 2 on the passenger side i took the y-pipe and the starter off to access the wires and routed them behind the header and looped it around some looming and then brought it through the primaries to their cordinating plugs. I thought it was pretty trick how i routed them.

I used the wires that came with the kit.

Hope this helps

Oops...

Well i used to have OVC wires with MACs so i might be of some assistance still. The MAC primaries are decently separated, so you shouldnt have a problem keeping them clear. I found that if i zip tied the 2 wires together (2-4, 6-8,....) i could easily fit them through the primary gaps.

I used 90* boots with the Taylor OVC kit.

What am I missing in this picture? The way you mounted it is great, but why do all 4 wires on the drivers side run to the back of the engine? Why didn't you drop them off to each spark plug one by one. Just curious. I'm considering going the Delteq route and yours is the best installation I've seen so far.

Because the wires in the Delteq kit are to long so you cant just drop them at every spot. I had to route them to the back and then back to their cylinder. I was to lazy to try to find shorter wires
