Deepest but Quietest Muffler??

I have a magnaflow muffler on my LT1 and I swear it almost sounds like the 3.8 with exhaust. I need something with a DEEP tone to it but I am on a TIGHT budget. Any suggestions?

I really like my hooker. I have LT headers, 3in. off road Y pipe, and hooker catback. At idle its just a little bit louder then stock, but once I get on it, it simply sounds mean!

Yea, I wanna get another muffler that is pretty quiet because I do not have my cat converter anymore. I just want the deepest sounding muffler that is still quiet for CHEAP. Is flowmaster my best bet? If so which series should I go with?

While it more than likely won't sound the same on an LT1 as it does on a 454 Chevelle, get the 2 chamber race muffler from Flubbermaster. Sounds mean as hell.

No part number but I would try www.jegs.com or www.summitracing.com. Both should have it.

Does anyone have a part number for it? I just want to make sure that I order the right thing.

Does that hooker sound a lot better than the flowmaster 80 series?

I believe the deepest LT1 muffler I have heard is the SLP 2OTL. Some may not like the look of the driver's side dual outlet, but its a different look that has grown on me. When I start my car and go inside, the entire house rumbles with the deepness of my SS.

Heres a vid of my hooker catback. My full exhaust system is jethot longtubes, hooker o/r Y-pipe, and the hooker catback with an 18" dynomax bullet in the I-pipe. The video doesn't do it justice, its the best sounding exhaust system I have heard on an F-body, and thats just not my opinion, everyone that hears it loves it too, even an srt-4 that I raced last week.

If you have manifolds and no cat and are interested in Hooker:
http://www.freehomepages.com/andyg/Hooker_Launch.avi

You'll need Divx to see it, but you should still be able to hear it. Please right click and save.

If you have or plan on Long tubes, 3" ypipe, and Hooker(full 3" out):

Enjoy.
