Decision time.

First off my Formula is now paid off. And I have been wanting to have the motor rebuilt for several months. I want to do a LE1 H/C package on it with a Forged bottom end. The big question I have is..should I go with a 350 kit? 383 kit? I want the best durability and something I won't have to refresh every so often. I'm also aware that my transmission will need to be rebuilt a well. I just wanna know what will be the more economical route? The LE1 kit will give me a kick in the butt power jump.


Or

Just have use my stock bottom end with a LE2 kit? My SB has 96k miles on it. I may spray from time to time.

I'm competative so my friend is in the process of building a 355 he wants to run 'em when mine's finished. He'll have an 89 T/A with all this...
