Decent priced tires?

When i bought my car it came with some really terrible rear tires, There Falken G's 255's. They Rub the inside of my fender to the point that there starting to shred. They are made of a really hard compound. Almost like tonka plastic tires and they have zero traction. I need some rear tires with some traction, But i dont have alot of money to spend on tires right now. So i was wondering what a decent priced tires for the rear would be that have a decent amount of traction? Thanks guys.

kumhos are decent... its like 60 bux for a 245/50/16

i had them on my 6... they arent all that great, but def not hard plastic

my fav tires are fulda extremos... they are Z rated, have a very cool tread design, (very trusted european brand) and they hook very nice... their treadwear rating is 180 tho (very soft radials) compared to other brands (280-320) nittos are 100 tread wear if u wanna compare stickiness

they are only sold at tirekingdom (or tirerack, but i'm almost sure its tirekingdom)

they are 110 a piece... (a z rated tire with this good quality is over 250)

From what I've seen, BFGoodrich KDWS 245/50/ZR16's seem to be a very popular high performance all season tire for f-bodies.. Priced from tire rack at about $100 per tire.. Also, you might check out Pirelli P-Zero Nero's in the same size. A bit more per tire, but I believe they offer better traction and improved treadwear.

i will tell you some tires not to get for performance. michelin pilot stock size, they last forever, but they are horrible for traction.
with my vigi 2800, it will only stall to around 1600rpm without spinning through the brakes....i can pull a blistering 2.5 sixty foot time.

I like the BF Goodrich Radial KDW (not KDWS). They hook pretty well for the price. I got two 245/50/16 from onlinetires.com for $272 delivered. Mounted and balanced cost an additional $25. These will not wear great but they are a hoot to run.

I've also heard people recommend Pep Boys Tires that run around $100 each but I have no experience with these.
