Debating to sell my car.... how much to ask for?
i bought a 96 Z28 last winter, it has been too costly for me to keep since i need another car for winter anyways. i am debating to sell it.
it is a black 96 z28 rebuilt. it was in an accident before. i have spent $14700 canadian to have on the road. that's my total including me buying it, repairs and taxes included which are 0.14% in manitoba, canada. the car has 125000km on it. it has just been scanned just a week ago and a few sensors replaced...o2 sensor, knock sensor, egr valve replaced and a euro purge seloinod replaced. my car is fully loaded v8, i have 17" polished eagle rims, firehawk tires, 6 speed however the third gear grinds at high rpms, i was told it's the sincro but at low rpms it's fine, i put a skip shift eliminator on, k&n filter, and it has 3" hooker exhaust,t-tops one year old paint job. one other problem is it makes a noise when you let go of the gas because the catalitic converter touches the frame and can't be moved according to the dealer because an exhaust leak could occur but the mount to the engine. what do you guys think i should be asking? i was thinking 17500 canadian to start off with.... how low should i go??????? please help

ok I figured the exchange rate. You said you have 14,700CAD in it. That converts to 10,935 USD. I don't think you can get more than 8,000 USD or 11,618 CAD. You never can get what you put into a car unless it is a rare classic.
