Datamaster file for you guys, check it out, anything seem wrong?

Just ran Datamaster on my car, first at idling, then reving it alittle, and then driving alittle around the block. Bellow is a zip file that has the .uni file that you can playback with your datamaster software. Please check it out for me, I am planing on doing headers, exhaust, cam, n20, and maybe heads within the next few months and want to fix any issues before I do. Lemme know if you see anything wrong, thanks.

Yes, i forgot to add, I have madz28 tuning. Sorry for my lack of knowledge of the subject, I know you are talking about timing when you say "a lot of advance" is that bad? Is there anything on there that does not seem right?

looks like a pretty solid running car to me from what youve provided. the only thing is the DTC 77 which is either a fan problem or you are getting it b/c of a manual fan switch(like me). Ion can turn that off for you if it bothers you though.

turbo_z thanks for the reply. Car has 104,xxx on the clock. I am sure its due for o2's, figure I will do them with headers. She needs a new fuel pump also (delayed start, fuel presure doesn't hold). I am going to go get some high way WOT runs, lets see how she reacts to it. So according to this, the car is running good and you think it will handle some heavier mods? BTW, something is still hitting the damed floor board on the driver side. I have NO idea what is it cus nothing is there, driving me nuts. Its happening when i let off the gas, usally in 1st or 2nd. I assume its the tranny holding the engine back cus when i let it bubble down from 2500 or 3000 or so it happens. I am thinking the poly mount has no give and is throwing the trans into the driver side of the tunnel. Whatcha think?

ok I am back from having alittle fun with datamaster agian. As requested I did a bunch of WOT runs, at all diffrent MPH, alittle city driving. its a 46 minute log file roughly, but you can fast foward through the boring stuff It is 3mb, but I ziped it so its only 600k or so. Tell me what you think, I usally never hit 5000+ RPM, tell me how she looks when I do. Comments or suggestions welcomed. ALSO, if there a way with datamaster to view just rpm with a log as big as this one? Thanks, post away.

I dont read these log files or technical data very well. Anyone have any ideas? The Fuel issue i may understand, my fuel pump is tired. I do have a delayed start, and when i put a fuel presure guage to the shader valve, it went to 40 psi, but when i shut the car off it droped to 0 in about 3 seconds. Do that I THINK explains the car not getting fuel, maybe?

Nick,
the car is running perfect, I can guarantee you that. There was one occurence of knock retard as previously mentioned, but that doesn't necessarily mean that there's too much advance. In fact, to contradict the other person seeing "too much advance", most of the power I make is through air to fuel ratio adjustments as I already mentioned. There are no adjustments to part throttle timing on your tune and small adjustments to timing at WOT to 4000 rpms.
Feel free to email the tune I sent you to Dan K (who also does tuning) for a review if you still doubt the above.

i didnt check out the frame you were referring to specifically but im pretty sure its just deceleration. the fuel always cuts off on deceleration.. why waste the gas when you dont need it.

Exactly. Thanks Brad...

I'm assuming he's got an automatic... things are a little bit different on those.

PS. I also did not see the mentioned frame...

Thanks for the replies guys. Ion, thanks for looking at the datamaster log. I take your word when it comes to how the car is running, i cant read to into those data logs, my head will start to hurt. Ion you said "I'm assuming he's got an automatic" were you refering to me? Also, acording to that long datamaster file, how are my 02's doing? They have 104,xxx on them and i think they may be due for a change when I do headers. So the fuel issue is me deselerating? Thanks so much all!

There is no fuel issue.
o2s look right to me, although with that much mileage, it wouldn't hurt to put some new ones in...

Slow95car, I know what you mean. I don't like large logs like that either. It's hard to tell what happened and where from looking at the graph. A short drive with a 2-3 WOT runs is perfect.
