Dash Question!!

I have a 96 SS/Z28.... ok... I wanna take the 97-up Camaro dash and put it it... along with the console... do I need a new guage cluster? Do the vents line up? is the airbag thing the same size? does the dash fit right in the same brackets? etc.... PLEASE let me know problems.... or anything... Thanks! And provide pics if you have seen it done if you can... Thanks!!!!

How did this get to be an all Virginia post anyway????

I suggest you contact the local Chevy dealer and ask for a print out of the parts in question for both years. Compare both the diagrams and the part numbers. Then go to a junkyard and look around.

If you can't get the info you want, let me know. I have a few buddies at Hampton chevy that will get me what you need and I can fax it to you.

You have to remove EVERYTHING. You need converters for the instrument panel. Connectors are different. Plus its gonna cost you a pretty penny. I invested some time into trying to figure out what it would take and it ended up being to time consuming and costly. But, good luck on your endeavor.
