Hey guys,

Got a bit of an issue with my 97 t/a. When I'm driving with my lights off (headlights) everything is fine. When I turn my lights on the dash lights flicker and my stereo will shut off then turn back on. There is no sequence to the flickering, it's very speratic. I'm guessing it's a bad ground somewhere. Anyone have any idea where to take a look?

 

Your headlight switch is in the same unit as your dash lights dimmer switch, which also controls the stereo dimming. My guess there is something going on the with switch itself. First i would look at the wiring harness behind the actual switch to see if anything is burnt or arching over. Otherwise my guess is the switch is going bad. That would be the first place i would start.
