Angry That Damned Slip-fit Primary!!

Hey guys i have the notorious slip-fit primary leak on my hooker LT's. I bought some high temp. RTV sealent but it says it can only handle 700*. arent headers over 1000*? What are u guys using to seal this up?

I just used a small exhaust clamp. You cant really see that part of the primary anyway. Seals good too.

I think its just a 1-2in exhaust clamp. Im thinking 2in and i just tightened it down good.

Uh if your headers go 1000+ degrees you'd be in trouble LOL...

i just put some hitemp RTV in there since I installed them and have had no indication of a leak ever in over a year.
