I want to get in on this too. For the last couple of months, whenever I start my car cold, the low coolant light will turn out. If i leave it running for like 30 seconds and turn it off then restart it, it will turn off. I've checked the levels, added coolant and everything, and still it comes on. If I dont restart my car it will stay lit until I do...I mean for hours. Its so odd.
THanks for any help.

I went to Autozone the other day to get a Low Coolant sensor and he told me they didn't have any in the computer and thats a part you have to get from GM.
I bet they'll charge me an arm and a leg, so I'm just gonna call some of the other Local Auto parts stores around here and see what they say.

Ive been having that problem for a while too. I just had my car in the shop for some other things but when I got it back the light was off, I asked them what they did to get it to turn off? They said they dusted it off... LOL, dust caused a bad connection or something like that, but yeah, you are probably better off gettin a new one, just to be safe
