I'm just cruising along in tow about 30mph, put trans in 4th gear and BAM, a loud bang and then a grinding noise. I went ahead and drove it home (slowly) and pulled the rear cover. 2 teeth off the ring gear. These are Motive 4.10s, the other two time were with Superier gears. At least these lasted 80,000 miles.
This crap is getting old.

Its alright, we will let you vent. Im sure mine is about to go out too. I think my suspension and tires are too strong for my rear end. I can only spin if i drop the clutch with 275 nittos. The car dynoed at 348 rwhp.
