cylinders 1,7,4,6 dead...bad injectors or something else?

Just wondering what these cylinders share. I recently developed driveability problems that I ended up thinking was a bad opti, until I discovered the dead cylinders were still getting spark. 1,7,4 and 6 were all dead (cold header tubes) until I swapped injector connectors, then the cold tubes got hot. They all died all of a sudden. Any ideas if these share the same injector drivers or anything? All my injectors are new 30# SVO's.

**correction: cylinder 7 is dead, not cylinder 8. Both outer drivers cylinders, and both inner passenger cylinders are dead.**

valve lash adjustment is out more than likely....sounds like your poly locs loosened up on you.....check them on drivers side first......since this is the easier side to get to... see if I'm right.

Your injectors shoud have between 10-15 ohms of resistance. And you should get 12 volts at the connectors. If you still think its fuel. Lift up the injector out of the intake, and disconnect the coil wire, and have someone turn the key and observe the spray of the injectors. But the valve adjustment sounds like a possible culprit. Testing the injectors with a multimeter is pretty easy.
