I have a 95 Z28 M6 that I overheated by driving around with a coolant leak for too long. I'm pretty sure I have a blown head gasket because thick white smoke pours out of the exhaust. Would anyone recommend using Block Seal or one of those copper products that is supposed to seal leaks in the radiator and heads when you pour it in and run the engine then let it dry or should I take everything apart and have the heads resurfaced and all of that? Any responses will be greatly appreciated. I gotta get this bad boy back on the road.

 

you need to stop driving that car, take off the heads, have them checked (and most likely milled) professionally as well as replace the head gaskets.

 

don't waste your time with that stuff. It more than likely won't fix the problem. Then once you fix it right your car will probably over heat again because your coolant system will be gummed up.

 

Buy some AFRs

 

Do exactly this... you're only gonna make things worse with all the other crap and the problem wont be fixed.
