cutting out at WOT

94 bone stock auto, when I am at WOT it almost acts as if it is hitting the rev limiter but yet its not. It usually happens around 4800 and will not go any further until I lower throttle. I just did a plug wire tune up, and it still does it. Is there a common problem that might solve this?

Check your fuel pressure.

Probably bad pump

damn they got here b4 me , haha , also check backpressure, could be a cat. does the car feel really lazy off the line or at WOT?

did you do plugs also? gap them right? stock heat range?

If the fuel filter is still good and your plugs and wires are pretty fresh than there is only one thing left in my mind. Do you run 91 octane in it full time or do your run a lower octane? My car did it with anything less than 91
