Cutting the drip tabs off of LT1 composite valve covers

Cutting the drip tabs off of LT1 composite valve covers

Had to cut these drip tabs off of my LT1 composite valve covers since they were hitting my Comp Pro-mag roller rockers:


Here is what they look like now:


My question. Do I need to prep or seal the exposed composite areas with something like resin, super glue etc? Or just run them as is and not worry about oil doing something crazy to the exposed fibergalss?

Have you ever pulled them for inspection?

I cut the tabs on the composite covers that came with my 1995 C4 and they have been exposed for a few years and look fine on the inside.
