cutout and emissions

cutout and emissions
just wondering if a cutout would make it any harder to pass emissions. Im in CA and emissions are tough to pass and would like to know before buying a cutout. thanks for any help.

You should be able to pass emissions, as long as you still have the emissions equipment. Just close the cutout, and make sure it doesn't leak. i've never actually taken an emissions test before, so I'm basing this all on theory
