cutout, causes turbulance??
I was just thinking wouldn't a cutout be causing alot of turbulance in the exhaust when it's closed?? I mean the exhaust has to go into a few inches of a capped pipe, hit a brick wall, turn around, which would cause the flow of exhaust to not be "optimal". Probably loss of power somewhat, how much??? Also the cutout it placed close to the engine, more so then the catback, which is even worse as far as turbulance being present that close up in the system. Anyone have any thought on this, i'm just wondering.
You're right that it will cause some turbulance, but I don't think it's enough to make a difference. Exhaust will take the path of least resistance, so it's not like all the exhaust is hitting the cap, backing up, then going out the rest of the i-pipe.
