which should i get. I would plan on leaving the cutout open all the time. Hp gains the same? Would the loudness of the cutout annoy me after a while?

yes, cutouts are annoying and dumb IMO. Try a catback, I like the hooker and SLP catbacks for low price options.

 

If you want low $$$ get a cutout especially if it open all of the time. You will most likely see a hp gain also. i don't know about the cut out being annoying but my Loudmouth doesn't annoy me.

 

cutout! it is cheap and louder than any catback out there. it will gain u more than any catback will too! it can get annoying if u dont like it Loud!

 

Well since you say that you plan on leaving the cut out open most of the time, i wouldnt waste my money on a cat back system. The cut out will gain more hp over the cat back system b/c that's what it's there for, to bypass the muffler. Personally i knocked off .1 seconds et and gained 2 mph on the 1/4 mile. I dont know if you still have your cat or not, but if you have it still, it's not really that loud with the cut out open until you get on it.

 

get a cut out, i kind of thought it was too loud but now after a few months i am considering getting headers with dual cut outs. i want to make it louder. i really think a cut out will net you more power. just my .02
