If you think your car is fast stock, putting on a k&n FIPK will make it very noticably faster. You'll especially feel it in 2nd and 3rd gear, in the upper RPM's where the stock airbox couldn't flow the air the engine demanded, creating a vacuum in your air-intake-system.

I'm down for that 10-15rwhp...definitely very noticeable, and perhaps a 10th off your time.

 

the 8-10rwhp it gives you is by no means noticeable, and if it is noticeable its your head, swapping from 2:73s to 3:73s is noticeable, or throwing in a nitrous kit thats noticeable to, but not a cold air kit

 

I didn't notice much if any difference with the addition of my G2 CAI, but it uses part of the stock airbox. The catback was noticable so I think a cutout would make a bigger impression but be too loud for daily use -- sorry officer, the screws must of just fallen out!

 

I disagree, I noticed a large difference, a definite SOTP (Seat Of The Pants) difference when I installed my CAI.

And when I threw on an aftermarket muffler, then I really noticed it.

 

I noticed quite a bit when I switched over to R/A.

 

with my setup i saw 2 tenths knocked off with the k&n cai and 3 tenths without the filter.
