Cut-Out or SLP Loudmouth?

On my current exhaust i've got a cut-out double clamped on a 3.5 inch stainless steel system I have no idea where the heck its from, but the muffer is so quiet without the cut-out. Should I replace it with an SLP Loudmouth exhaust system or just leave it like it is with the cut-out open all the time? Also, it seems like loudmouth systems are louder than my cut-out cause my formula is so low to the ground, but the interior noise is insane.

I'm not sure about the loudmouth but with an open cutout you're going to have next to no low end torque. I ran my hooker catback w/o a muffler for a day. At idle it was without a doubt the meanest car I've ever heard. After that though the tone gets pretty rough, it pops, all kinds of crap you probably don't want.

I'm in the same boat as you right now. My hooker isn't loud enough. I don't know exactly how the loudmouth is constructed but if possible I'd like to just unbolt my hooker muffler and install a loudmouth "muffler" . Anyways, check around, I'm sure the loudmouth provides more backpressure, thus more low end torque than a cutout. Yay/Nay anyone?

The loudmouth system has no "muffler" instead it has a resonater. If you just want to replace your muffler with a resonater type muffler then i suggest going with the dynomouth setup. i have a diagram and 2 sound clips if your interested. Im sure you can search the boards too or you can just email me or IM me on AIM
