I am really thinking about getting a cutout to my 1994 LT1 and just had a question. If I dont have it all the way open or all the way closed wouldnt it just sound like I have an exhaust leak? I dont know because I've never heard it but just seems like it would. Please help me out and inform me on this. Thanks

 

First off....why would you run it half way open?? Anyway I figure it would just sound slightly uncapped. Depends on where in the system you run it also.

 

Incase I'm not at the track and just want a little more sound, but if it would sound ****ty like an exhaust leak would then I'd just have it open or closed. Also how much of a difference would it be closed w/o cats w/a flowmaster muffler?
