i just came back from the muffler shop where i put my 3" cutout. maaaaaan does it sound loud. i put it right after the y-pipe and it just sounds too good to have it capped. i highly recommend that everyone gets a cut-out!!!!!!

 

is it usual to hear a slight difference in exhaust note with the cutout closed???? i hope i gained some hp but if i didnt ohh well it sounds killer!

 

Yeah, you gained some hp. I went from 13.4@101 with just cai on a cool april night, to running 13.3@103 on a hot june night after adding only the cut out.
