Custom Dual exhaust down the passenger side?

Is it possible or a good idea to try to run a dual exhaust system off hokker long tubes downt the passenger side. My car is lowered and I would like to get the most out of the only room under the car. There looks like there is a good amount of room to fit both pipes down the passenger side. Id like ot not spend the money on a Y pipe if i dont have to and plan on putting the GMMG style chamberd mufflers on it http://www.sweet-thunder.com/chambered.htm#stainless

Any opinions on if i should get the Y and a longer chambered muffler or go with a short true dual system running down under the passenger seat?

I have seen someone a while ago that did something similar to what im talking about with 2 pipes down under the passenger seat but cant find the pics.

i wish i could post pics of mine, but theyre stuck in my digicam, no way to upload them until i buy a new card reader.

ill try to explain tho

i have jethot longtubes, this goes to 3" mandrel bent x-pipe, then both pipes after the X go over to the passenger side of the driveshaft tunnel to get the most ground clearance (header collectors are the lowest part), and also so i can use an aftermarket torque arm with no clearance issues later.
then i have two 18" sweet thunder mufflers which end right at the axle, no dumps, just fires straight back.

i wish i had ordered 24" or maybe even 30" mufflers (i havent measured if the 30" would fit, but i know the 24" would fit).........the 18" are just too loud.

That is exactly what i want to do. Although the X pipe is kinda hard to imagine. I was thinking a simple H would work too. Id really like to see some pics. Also how much would you say getting it put on cost. Money for me is a factor. Id also probly go with the longer mufflers also as i like loud but i dont like tickets from the **** cops here.

I bought a dual system but it hung too low and was for a auto and did not fit my car i still have all teh 3" tubing for it so I might save a little $ by using the 3" piping from it.

My car is not running a crossmember brace.

I have an M6, so maybe i have a little more room.

they had to grind down my tranny crossmember, just the lip of it, so the 3" piping would fit.

the x-pipe is just as high as the longtube headers.

ill try and measure mine to see if the 30" will fit......that would probably be best.

if i can get a new cardreader ill upload the pics.

I would have had to have cut the tranny member too to make the one i have to fit but did not want to do that as it seems there is enough room to go around the rear of the M6. I have an M6 also.

It can be done. I've made quite a few of them.

If you look under exhaust on our website, www.ls1speed.com, there is a pic of one of them.

It took me a while to find it but you have to look under an LS1 year Z or TA and it is under their exhaust section. They are a little $ though $1000 for one to exit out the back and $550 for a short one before th axil. They look very nice though.

got_hp? that is the exact set up im looking ot do. I am looking for max clearence you think the 24" mufflers would fit alright? 18" looks like its long on there. is the X pipe custom? do you think a H would be simpler to do?
