Everything cost me only $70 and two hours of dickin around in the garage. I picked up ~10rwhp and ~20rwtq, you tell me if it helped
You get about the same from a K&N FIPK but thumbs up for your creativity
Chris
Homemade CAI's are nice.
Store bought CAI's are even nicer.
But what I'm wondering is why nobody simply buys a K&N or Holley power shot filter and simply place it in the stock airbox and remove the front cover of it. Then just zip tie the filter so it doesn't fall out and dirt doesn't get in there. Cheaper, easier, looks better than a homemade one.
Nice job btw.
