Thumbs up CSI Waterpump Failure !!!

Mine went out after 3 years now. I'm not sure what caused it, but I've been getting a ton of water in my engine bay lately ( Me thinks it may be someone trying to kill my engine by pouring water down bwhind the cowl). The pump was all gunked up and rusted.

I shipped it off to CSI. Paid $58 by credit card wednesday and it was sitting here friday
I got a new pump and impeller, they just reused the aluminum housing that bolts to the water pump.

They were absoloutly spectacular. I was very surprised that they handled things so professionally and with my needs in mind.

Two Thumbs Up !!!!

Glad to hear they took care of you.. Last I heard CSI had some pretty serious customer svc issues. Hopefully things are better now (as you experienced).

Yea, how many miles/hours did you run it? Sounds like I want to get a CSI(R) just from the replacement standpoint. What do they cover, what dont they cover?

My Meziere died a few weeks after the install a while back. It took me posting here with lots of replies to draw their attention so that they could do something about it. CSI next time IF I ever decide to get an electric again.

I have been reading that in your posts tonight, sorry man. I even saw the pics with green goo. I am liking CSI(R) for the time being.

My CSI has started to growl and Im thinking water in the bearing. All I gotta do is send it back and they will replace it for $58?? How long from the day you shipped it to the day you got it back?

My CSR will be installed as soon as my housing is back from Noble Coatings. So far it's a very nice unit - well built. My buds all run the Meziere's and they're nice units as well.
