Cruise control not working.

My cruise control has been tempermental. Some days it works, other days it doesn't. Could it possibly be loose wiring? It's not essential but it will keep my foot away from the pedal.

I would check your brake switch under the dash on the brake pedal. Make sure it is in proper adjustment. Mine loosened up and this wouldn't let the cruise control kick on.

When mine started doing this it failed after a few weeks. I had to replace the unit in front of the left front wheel.
