Cruise Control Cable Routing

IVe got a 96 Lt1 without TRaction control. I know that since I have long tubes I need to run it inside that heat shield on the drivers' side. I need to know where it goes from there. I know it goes to the TB but it has to fasten to something else on the firewall or close ot it b4 that. Thanks

Re: Cruise Control Cable Routing

Does anyone have a pic of how the cable is run? Where does it clip to on the frame rail? Sorry for bringing up an old thread.

Re: Cruise Control Cable Routing

It should run to the cruise control module on the driver side rail.

Re: Cruise Control Cable Routing

Module bolts to the driver's frame rail, comes up right at the k-member then routes like so....also, I think it has a retainer that gets pushed into the bottom of the plastic brake line clip.

It then goes around the left side(referenced from drivers seat) of the brake booster....there is a clip on the cable that you slide onto the flange of the booster....

From there it is up and over the booster to the throttle body.
