hi does in any one no if a V6 cruies control module will work on a V8 because i think my cruise control module went out and there is one on ebay

Why do you think yours went out? Cause it won't engage when you try to set it? Check your third brake light bulb. If your cruise won't engage, chances are the bulb is burned out in the center brake light. If the bulb burns out you don't have antilock brakes either.

Don't buy used stuff from the internet. If you want used go to a local junk yard. Have your part out first before you do so you can compare them.

And by the way the price of a new module from GMpartsdirect is only $66.00. Part number 25140793. And don't believe everything you read on the intenet.
