You might be able to tap that, depends on what cylinder and clearance for the tap.

Tapping is using a special drill bit almost that when slowly turned in, it will either fix the threads that were messed up or create new ones. You'll have to find out what size threads are used in the cylinder heads. I have one that is cross threaded right now and I just left it, so far so good.

If you can't tap it you can helicoil it. Either way you aren't screwed.

Dude if you don't even know what tapping is then I would take it to a shop and let them figure it out. The reason I say that is you don't wanna experiment and mess it up.

I ran into the same prolem tonight with mt SLP install, However it was only the first threas or two. I chased them but chasing a cross threaded hole takes a lot of experience and practice to not further damade the thread. The size is 3/8-16 and they are only about 1/2 in deep so use a bottom tap
