Re: Crate shortblocks? Who's ordered?

So have people been getting their engines from victory already? I know their fairly new and thats one of the things i was waiting on to see who got engines and had good results. Im scraed of all these stories of people i heara bout havinga motor spin a bearing minutes after startup (yes theyprimed the oil pump and all) or got incorrect/cheaper parts in their motors. I am NOT saying this is something from victory at all, just other people i know in my area.

I am in the market for a hsort block again and have the $ and dont see anything else coming up and stopping my project like has happened a few times in the past now. I wanna make sure i do it once and do it right though.

Hey victory, can you do crank and rod upgrades? Maybe a dragonslayer crank and lunatis promod rods? Do you have any experience building a shortblock for a turbo motor? Im strongly considering a turbo setup, if i dont go turbo ill be on heavy nitrous.

Yes, we do crankshaft and connecting rod upgrades. We carry Eagle, Lunati, Callies, Compstar, Howards and a host of others for engine internals. We have expierence build short blocks for all natrually aspirated and power adder applications.
Please feel free to do a search for our name on this board, and you will find anything you want to know about our quality and customer service. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact us. We welcome the opportunity to assist you in reaching your performance goals.

lol.. no such thing dude.

uuuh, to put it as basic as I can.. the two or four bolts indicates how many bolts hold in the main "caps" that hold your crank in place. Basically the very bottom end of the engine.

That vid was so sick. Very impressive. I'm speachless. I hope I never run into that. I'm proud to drive a Chevy, wish it was that one.

While it was never production, I have seen an aluminum LT1 block with my own two eyes.

Such an animal was created at one point, but I am not certain how many were made. My guess is that it was a thought bubble that GM spent a few dollars on and left it at that.

Re: Crate shortblocks? Who's ordered?

I say go with VRE, I was planning on going with Golen, but after I talked to Eric I decided to go with the boys at Victory. They built me a Forged 383 9:1CR, no core charge and fast shipment, they started building it the day i called and called me frequently to update me on the shortblock without me asking them too. Awsome SERVICE

ramair96ws6 I talked to Sam a Combination Motorsports and he told me about a 383 with ported Trickflows they just did in a trans am with a D1, 236/248, at 12lbs of boost that hit 700RWHP that wouldn't happen to be your car would it???
