Ok, my neighbor gave me a brand new K&N Crankcase breather... however, I am wondering, should I even put this on my LT1?? I assume it goes where the oil filler is, but doesn't the PCV falve get rid of air pressure?? Why would anybody need a breather?

So, I guess my question is keep it or give it back?

You don't need it. You can probably find a lot of explanation if you search for "breather", as it is frequently talked about.
