crank hub bolt length??

crank hub bolt length??

i misplaced my hub bolt that goes into the crank. i know its a 7/16" fine thread, but i dont know the length..im guessing around 3 1/2" can anyone tell me for sure? thanks

Not sure of the length.

EDIT: If it's a 7/16" fine then I got the wrong bolt

Are you sure it's 7/16"?

Yeah, it is definitely a 7/16-20 x 2¼". Make sure you get the proper bolt and not just a regular grade one from the hardware store. GM PART # 9440024

The big washer that goes with it is GM PART # 10128306 .

BASTARDS!

I got the wrong damn bolt then. For SOME reason I thought I saw somewhere that that was the bolt that I needed.

Hopefully he'll just keep it for his next SBC buildup and credit me.

Does ARP make one?

Dunno, but this is a standard SBC crank hub bolt, should be available at any reasonable auto shop (Kragen, Auto Zone, etc).
