Crane 227 acceleration video

This seems to be the trend on here so I figured I'de throw this up. Mods were Crane 227 cam, mildly ported heads, longtubes, hooker catback, lingenfelter cai, mail order tune with the a/f in the 11's. I went 12.4@115 with this setup with a 2.0 60'.

It was a 95 degree 100% humid day on gsd3's.

Well with our tunes being nearly the same ( ****ty ) and me having a stalled auto, I feel like Im right where I should be. 324/316
The dyno guy said once the A/F is fixed the TQ should go up substantially. 13.6

Anyway, your car sounds good.

Re-read the 1st post, hooker catback. It had an 18" bullet in the i-pipe too. As far as a new video I don't see that happening any time soon.

I've had a ton of setups. Crane 227, gm846, bre, bre/le, now Ai. I was just going through all my videos and found this one and figured people would like to see it.

How much were those heads? How much did they help out compared to the stock ones?

Not sure how big of the cam the BRE was, but between that the 846 and the 227, was there a noticeable difference in the 3?

Your car must be related to mine then...

Sounded good in the video, but I think the current setup sounds better (from your dyno video).

227 was the favorite of the as far as street manners/toruqe. The 846 slowed my car down over the 227

I couldn't go back to a catback after running true duals. I just need to quiet it down a bit since it attracts a little too much attention.
