Crane 10308 springs w/ CC503 ?

What I need to know is, are these springs ok to use with the CC503 cam w/1.6 RR's ? I know that the Crane springs are good to .600 lift, I just want to make sure they are not too much for this cam.
The reason I ask is, I already have the springs just sitting there and I just bought the cam and I really don't want to buy more springs if I don't need to.

Thanks

Yes, they'll work and are an excellent choice too. I'm running that kit too.

I did buy a shim kit at the same time so I could correctly set the installed height and seat pressure.

I installed mine about 3 years ago and have the specs written down somewhere (can't find them right now), but from memory I set mine at 1.800" 135/140# on the seat. I used OD spring locators too.

those work fine. I would sugegst getting the Comp 4770-16 locators like Jake suggested. Anywhere from 1.750-1.800" will work great.

Awesome !! Thanks for the info guys ! Once again, this site and the people on it, have been more than helpful !!

Lloyd - A big thanks to you too ! I know you have a plenty big enough name on here that you don't need to reply to posts like this, but I just want to say it is very much appreciated. Even if it isn't said that much !!
