What will my compression ratio increase be over stock if I went with the thinner gaskets, is it safe? Ill be using le3 cam and le2 heads? 91 octane?

3 or 4 tenths I believe, all else being the same. And no I don't think you will have a problem on 91 octane.

Depends on your combustion chamber size.

Since they're custom heads, you should ask Lloyd and then he can help you figure out your SCR and then DCR with your cam.

LE2 are 57cc

I calculated it as 10.6:1 on a stock bottom end and .026 gaskets, but Brett and Lloyd have posted on here that LE2 gives 11.0-11.2:1 with that setup.

I think they mean that the LE2 should be run with 11-11.2:1 compression for best results.

Either of those two would talk about DCR not SCR for "best results."

Also, the "best results" SCR for an LE2 package would be higher than 11-11.2:1.

Oh, and we can also look at what they actually said:

Dude you really need to stop talking out your a** about stuff you know nothing about.

I _have_ LE2 heads, and Lloyd told me they are 57cc. In addition you can search this forum and find the same information in a number of posts.

This time I'm not doing the search for you.

I understand, but with 57cc on a stock bottom end you're gonna get more like 10.8:1. I'm not trying to get into a pissing match with you and you can quote all the posts you want. I just want the guy who started the thread to get the best info possible.

Steve, do you really believe each an every set of Lloyds LT1 stock ported heads all have the same size chamber? Guess again, because mine are a little smaller than 57cc.
