A couple fresh rebuild questions?
A friend and I are rebuilding our LT1's and I have a couple ?'s
Do you have to go back and re-torque the head bolts after cam break-in? My friend's has white smoke coming out of the tail pipes and the coolant is disappearing. Could he have blown a head gasket already?
Second. Anyone taken out their heater core or bypassed it? What did you do with the two ports on the water pump for the heater? Are there any neater alternatives than running a hose from one port to the other?
