Question could this be my opti

i have asked about my problems before and the response i got was people thinking it was my opti. but i have developed a problem i didnt have before. my car will bog and have a real jumpy rpm. that all happened before but now it has died on me a couple times. and when i went to restart the car it turned over real slow then fired up. also just recently i have been turning the key and nothing happens turn it again and it will turn over. just looking for some answers and suggestions on what i should do. thanks for the help.

could be ignition switch.. does your car ever throw the SES light? does the car only act up when its hot or after a few minutes of driving? or right away? if it acts up again then go to autozone and have them scan your car for free to see what codes you get. if see a 16 or 36 then its time for a new opti otherwise im leaning towards ignition switch.

it happens sort of sparitacly. sometimes it will start right when the car starts sometimes after a while of driving. the most common problem i forgot to mention is the idle races were if i am in drive the car will go up to 1300 rpm or so and really i really have to put pressure on the brakes. but then once i press on the gas the tach will jump like go up at like 200 hundred rpm at a time. the car will also go up in rpm while i have in park. the rpm will hit about 1600 rpm while in park. the jumpy idle has been around for as long as i have owned the car a couple months. all other problems are new. the jumpy idle used to only happen when the car was hot.
