Could i do True duals with Mac headers???

Sure they are midlengths but how hard would it be just just cut the y-pipe on the left side before it bends and run 3" piping back?

I really dont see why it can't be done. I really want to do it but i dont feel like spending the money for LT's. Especially when i dyno higher TQ and HP #'s than the guys with LT's (but lets not start that topic)

So can it be done fairly easy?

I think a set of pacesetter LT's would run you about the same as a set of MAC's. If you have your heart set on true duals, Long tubes are the only way to go, I would think. One of the only advantages to the mid length design is that they do not compromise ground clearance, which would be nullified if you had to cram two separate pipes up there, I would think. You might be able to work it somehow, but I doubt it. That and the added cost of having those specific pieces fabbed up might get you into a set of Jet-Hots or Hooker LT's anyway.

I'd think it coudl be done really easily. Dont hack the y pipe though, just dont use it. Run the pipes right up to the header flanges.

BMR also makes a panhard rod relocator to make it easier to switch to true duals.

Just a thought.

Try 9.5 rwhp and 21.4 rwtq higher biatch!!!

But you may have me now since my opti took a dump

Can't wait to actually tune the damn thing and get more out of it. 13.8 and 14.1 a/f ratios on my last dyno

I really dont see this being that hard to do. Hell if i could weld im sure i could do it myself. Thanks for the input guys.
