correct springs with this cam...

i have a cc305 cam .513/.510, so with my 1.6 rockers, that's a .547/.544. i called comp cams, and the only part number he gave me was 26918-16...$185.

my question, is there another set of springs that will fit this application, be cheaper, and require no machining?

thanks for the link.

CRN-10308-1 Crane Aluminum LT1 Head Valve Spring Kit
fits stock head without machining, good to .600" lift, includes retainers, seats, and locks $179.97

with this being a complete kit, it's cheaper. will the .600 lift be too much for stock push rods? thanks again.

You can also check out the Isky 235-D springs. I think
Thunder Racing has them. They fit the stock head w/o
modification and are good to .550"

CM612. They are a single spring (no machining) and are good up to .600.

They cost only $89.95 from Combonation Motorsports.
