Is this correct?

I once read that when switching from stock manifolds with cat to headers without cat you need to get a tune done, to get rid of the popping and backfireing. I have a big problem with this i have a tune done already but not for the headers and no cat. My car back fire to the point of flams coming out of the tail pipes.JUst wondering what u guy think???

Re: Is this correct?

I figure that to so i started checking and reading plugs and they are all alittle black around the base of the threads but the porcelain is very white, white asthis screen! Which i was told was on the lean side, b/c you want a little color on the porcelain. The eletrode and strap are not eaten away or anything bad. Just a vary white porcelain with very little denation. does this sound rich ???
