Cooling system OVERHAULED, still running hot

I recently replaced both head gaskets, the thermostat, thermostat cap, antifreeze, etc. etc. Everything except the fans and radiator and after 2 days of running fine, I flushed the heater core, diluting the coolant mixture. SO I took it to school and ripped the hose that goes from the PCV valve to the intake. Could this hose be causing the car to overheat? Its reached 250* several times before I shut it down.

It rises primarily at idle, but stays at 230-240* while accelerating @ 60+ on the freeway.

Why the hell won't me car run cool? It ran at 240* before slowing down when the head gasket was done, but even after I bled the system and let it sit for an hour and 2 20 minute intervals in between, its still hot. I'm not going to drive it again until I fix the heat problem. Even if it takes a year.

I've already ran it up to 250 like 5 times today, I think I could blow the gasket that way so I'm gonna leave it alone.

Did you properly bleed the cooling system via the two coolant bleed screws on the water pump thermostat neck and ajacent hose? Air loves to hide in the cooling system in LT1s and can cause some intermittent over heating problems unless properly bled off.

FIRST thing I did. Believe me, I tried everything. My only guess why it the temperature won't DECREASE is another blown gasket, already, after only 2 weeks of driving and one day of overheating.

I had all these same problems and bled the system and did everything I could except the radiator, then I changed that and it has run cool every since. just a thought...

Umm, this may sound simple, but check for debree in front of the radiator. Mine sucked up a plastic supermarket bag up in there causing me to overheat constantly.

Hmmm, I guess thats a possibility. I did flush the heater core, though but I guess that wouldn't force that kind of a restriction out. Are you sure it'd be at the TOp though? Maybe I need to remove the radiator and have it pressure tested to see its effectiveness.
