Ok i got my water pump installed today when i got it all back togerther i tried to crank it up it wouldnt and it started to blow blue smoke throught the throttle body it soudned like it was choking out, but eventually it cranked ran bad for a little while but eventualy ran good. I was just wondering what the hell happend bad gas? Tthats what it smelled lke it smelled like gas. And the other question i have is will a manual fan switch make ther temp guage act funny? Any input would be greatly apreciated!

A manual fan switch shouldn't have anything to do with your temp guage, besides bring the temp down. Sounds like it was some bad gas in there.
