Cooling Fans coming on at startup?

Hello all,I need some troubleshooting advice. When I started my 95 TA LT1 this morning the cooling fans came on at startup and my check engine soon light appeared at same time. The fans stayed running most of the time the car was running and it wasn't no where near hot enough to kick on yet.I'm hoping yall can tell me it's maybe relay related instead of my computer??? Thanks,Andie Rigney

The fans coming on is due to the check engine light. Get the code read and let us know what the code is.

As said above, get the PCM scanned for the code. It could be a faulty temp sensor (located in WP) or it could be an AIR pump fuse that popped. I believe the cooling fans and AIR pump are on the same cicuit.
Check your fuse box to see if the AIR pump fuse has popped. This, of course is assuming you still have your AIR pump.
