cooling fans on all the time.

hey

i was making a manual fan switch but i have a 94 and i was using the directions for a 95 i think they were shoe boxes but any way i cut the wires and then spliced in my own wire. then i touched it to a positive and the fans came on but now when even the car starts the fans come on. could i have blown one of the fuses or something. any info would help.

thanks

First of all, you can't TTT after only 3 minutes.
Second.. are you getting a service engine light? If not, then it's your wiring. Double check everything to make sure you wired it properly and nothing is shorted or connected to the wrong wire.

If you spliced into the green and blue wires, they are to be routed to a switch and ground, not battery. You probably blew a fuse.
