Cooling
Car runs hot with the AC turned off. Doesn't overheat with it off
Confusing?
Your primary fans don't turn on until 215 degrees, and the secondary speed kicks on around ~225. These cars are designed to run hot for emissions purposes. What you're experiencing is a most likely normal condition.
Those of us with modified cooling systems see temperatures no higher than 170 degrees, regardless of running conditions.
