coolant loss on 95 lt1
3 weeks ago i drained the old coolant out of the radiator and the block, then i refilled the radiator, and i filled the block through the top of the water pump, every thing was fine until a couple of days ago i noticed after i drive the car then let it set for a while my coolant level is low, so i add more coolant to the radiator, about a cup, and i filled the resevoir up to,now then when i drive it for a while and im letting it idle the resivour starts to over flow, then it goes back down when i let it cool, and my coolant level is low again???
i tried to bleed the system but nothing, and my car doesnt over heat at all !! and i dont notice any hoses leaking or nothing, besides the resivouir over flowing

the proper way to fill the coolant is to (starting with an empty system) open the bleeder valves on the water pump and fill it through the top of the radiator. Wait until the coolant starts to come out of the bleeder valves and then close them. Start the car and watch the coolant level sink. Continue to top off this fluid until it is full to the top. Close the system with a properly working radiator cap and also ensure that you have enough coolant in the overflow reservoir. Let me know how you do.
I searched and found this thread... I get the whole thermostat housing bleeder screw, but I cant seem to get fluid to come out of the left most bleed screw on the line there. Also my heater sucks ***, would this be related? *IE it clogged or something? I notice it does go to the heater* Car doesnt overheat or anything but heater sucks/wont bleed out the top one.
Probably not your problem, but #1, if coolant low, heater won't heat. #2 if cap does not seal properly, the system won't pressurize and it will boil back into the overflow and possibly overflow the overflow and you will lose coolant.
So, make sure your cap is sealing properly. JMHO
