Question Coolant lines run to intake during TB bypass...coolant in oil

Alright here's the deal....my friend calls me up and asks how to do the TB bypass....he just put a 383 LT4 in his car and he's putting it all back together....well i tell him and then i'm like i'll swing over...well they do it and they go to start the car....smokes like a chimney and doesnt' run at all. I smell coolant and they said that they spilled some on the exhaust and that's what it is...so i'm looking and they took the coolant lines and ran one of them where the pcv valve goes and the and the other coolant line was connected to the pcv valve. So we check the coolant and it's all milky so the coolant is in there and he's not too happy at my friend that did it. Well we drained it all out and then we ran about 10 quarts through it without the plug on so it's going right through. We change the oil and put a new filter on and the cars all back together...starts up beautiful and runs good..needs a tune though....how bad was that. i know it's bad but i'm just wondering how bad...i didn't want to say anything but i don't think this motor is going to last too long.

If moronic crap like that keeps happening I would say not very long.

If I were him I would change the oil like 5 times in the next 500 miles... I don't think coolant works very well as a lubricant lol.

I would run the engine for awhile, like 25 miles or so and then change it again. All that coolant needs to come out of there. Just like the last post..I change my oil quit a bit in the next couple hundred miles when it is getting broken in.

Def. change the oil after he has put a couple miles on it...that will give the oil time to move around and get to places that just pouring oil in wont reach.

Good luck.
