coolant leaking!!!!

I have coolant dripping in the far back of the engine passenger side. I jacked the car up and crawled under there but i can't see where it is coming from. It is dripping through the starter drain. What does this sound like? Please any info is appreciated.

the only thing I can think of is the steam tube. it is on the backside of the heads. it is small tube that runs between each head. or iguess your head gasket might be leaking.

So it's my head gasket? Will the car make it to the shop or should i have it towed? I don't want to damage my engine

I not possitve, but it could be. there is a steam tube that bolts to the back of the head. try using a mirror to see if that is leaking. it also could be a heater core that is leaking. you could pressure test the system to see if you locate where it is leaking from, also.

Well, it's pretty hard locating the leak, all I can see is the coolant dripping down onto my starter, but after that I cannot locate it. That steam tube thing, is that easy to replace?

Are you referring to the coolent crossover tube on the back of the heads ( i think that's what you're refering too). Just take a wrench to the back of it and tighten it up and see if that fixes your problem. It's not that hard to do, it's right on the back of your heads..you'll be able to follow it acrossed to the other side. I'd post a pic of it but i dont have one.

Well I bit the bullet and went to the dealer. They told me that my water pump, radiator and my intake manifold gasket are leaking!!!! I then told him that 6 months ago that my water pump and intake manifold gasket was replaced. How is this possible. Thank Jesus I have a warranty or I would be getting raped!!!!
